Kier Property is bringing forward proposals to regenerate the People Building, a vacant office building at Maylands Business Park, to bring it back into use. With the People Building having stood empty for over four years, Kier Property will be redeveloping the site to construct seven high-quality, sustainable, industrial units that suit current market needs – creating up to 250 jobs, and generating up to £15 million within the local economy. The proposed development will support Dacorum Borough Council in meeting one of their strategic objectives which is to provide 10,000 new jobs in new B-class employment opportunities by 2027.
