
The Proposals
Kier Property will be constructing three buildings, containing a total of seven warehouse units (Classes E(g)(iii), B2 and B8) totalling 7,707 square metres (gross internal area). Alongside this, Kier Property will be modernising the park by providing new and improved access and servicing arrangements, car parking, landscaping, and associated works. Notably, the height of the proposed scheme will be reduced in comparison to the existing office building, with a reduction in maximum building height (to eaves) from 16 metres to 11.1 metres.


By providing high-quality employment floorspace, Kier Property is seeking to meet the identified market need for such space in the local area. There has been significant growth in the industrial and logistics industry, and as such there are a variety of jobs available – ranging from warehouse operatives to high-tech positions and management.
